Seven days and 800 miles from Darwin, sailing directly west, 1180 miles to Cocos Keeling Island. Wonderful to be sailing this big sea. Saw first ship tonight. First hundred miles slow with little wind.

Sorry - beach volleyball lost love!

Wind too strong and sea too rough to stop at Ashmore Reef. Coastguard boat was ready to guide me in & I was ready to swap DVDs, but elected to keep going & avoid encounters with the reef.

Coffee with sunrise on deck every morning, dolphins performing, seabirds only companions. The lady is beautiful to sail. Good wind, moderate sea in same direction.
